PoE Deck Checker retrieves market information directly from Grinding Gear Games' documented public Currency Exchange API. Pricing is calculated by this site from GGG's completed hourly trade history.

Your log stays on your device

You manually choose Client.txt in your browser. The browser reads only the Stacked Deck card messages needed for the analysis. The file, account name, chat history, selected dates, card results, and exported CSV are not uploaded to PoE Deck Checker or sent to GGG. No Path of Exile login or OAuth access is required.

Direct GGG market data

When pricing is enabled, the site sends only the selected pricing league to its own pricing service. That service retrieves the latest 24 completed hourly market digests from GGG's public Currency Exchange endpoint. Results are cached and reused for up to one hour to reduce requests. The current incomplete hour is never requested.

GGG describes this endpoint as aggregate historical trade activity. It is not a current listing feed and does not identify players or accounts. See the official Currency Exchange documentation.

How a card price is calculated

1. Collect completed hourly trades from the previous 24 hours.
2. Evaluate Chaos Orb and Divine Orb markets separately.
3. Remove abnormal hourly prices using a robust median filter.
4. Require at least three consistent hourly samples.
5. Prefer the currency market with stronger volume and consistency.
6. Convert the selected estimate into both Chaos and Divine values.

Pricing confidence

High

At least eight consistent hourly samples, at least 50 cards traded, limited price spread, and no excessive outlier removal.

Limited

The estimate passed the minimum consistency requirements but has thinner volume, fewer hours, wider movement, or conflicting currency markets.

Unreliable

There was too little consistent activity or the markets disagreed without a clear stronger source. No price is added to session totals.

Card details and artwork

Card names, rewards, and stack sizes are periodically incorporated from the community-maintained PoE Wiki and served as part of the website. Card artwork is requested from GGG's image service only when you open a card preview. These requests are separate from your Client.txt analysis.

Important limitations

• Prices are estimates, not guaranteed sale values.
• The current hour is unavailable because GGG publishes completed hourly history.
• Prices may not reflect bulk premiums, fees, or sudden market changes.
• GGG may change, delay, or discontinue its API or historical data.
• Observed drop rates describe only the uploaded log and are not official odds.

Separate from the game

PoE Deck Checker does not connect to the game client, inspect memory, modify game files, automate inputs, or perform actions in Path of Exile. It analyzes a file the user manually selects and makes read-only requests to GGG's documented public data service.
